DMCA Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026. CrawlerList respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, here's how to ask us to remove it.
1. Our policy
CrawlerList complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. We respond to valid takedown notices and may remove or disable access to content alleged to infringe a copyright owner's rights. We also terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users who are repeat infringers.
Note that CrawlerList is an aggregator. We do not create or host the underlying listings — we link to them. Where we display thumbnail images or excerpts, we believe such use is consistent with fair use. If you disagree, we will still review and respond to good-faith takedown notices promptly.
2. Filing a DMCA takedown notice
To file a notice, send a written notification to our designated agent (below) that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works are involved)
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing — including the full URL on CrawlerList where it appears — with enough detail for us to locate it
- Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
Send your notice to legal@crawlerlist.net. We typically review and respond within 5 business days.
3. Counter-notification
If your content has been removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. To do so, send a written counter-notice to legal@crawlerlist.net that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your full legal name, mailing address, and telephone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, any judicial district where CrawlerList may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complainant and restore the content within 10–14 business days unless we receive notice of a court action seeking an injunction.
4. Repeat infringers
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts and access of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers. Repeat infringers may also be permanently blocked from posting on CrawlerList.
5. Bad-faith claims
Filing a false or misleading DMCA notice or counter-notice can lead to legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Knowingly material misrepresentations may result in damages, including costs and attorney's fees, awarded to the injured party. Please make sure your claim is accurate before submitting.
6. Designated copyright agent
All DMCA notices must be sent to our designated agent:
CrawlerList — DMCA Agent
Email: legal@crawlerlist.net
Subject line: "DMCA Notice"
Notices that do not include all required elements may not receive a response. For non-DMCA legal matters, see our Contact page.
